Mummelsee in Summer
If you’re looking for a spot in summer to catch your breath, go for a stroll, and simply enjoy yourself, I have a very special tip for you today: Mummelsee.
Nestled in the heart of the Black Forest lies this legendary mountain lake, surrounded by dense woods and magnificent nature. Whether it’s a leisurely stroll around the lake, a pedal boat ride, or simply a break with a view of the water — this is the perfect place to leave everyday life behind.
The Mummelsee is at its most beautiful in the morning or late afternoon. The peaceful atmosphere, the fresh Black Forest air, and the stunning scenery make every visit special.
My tip: Take the time to walk the loop around the lake, and afterwards, enjoy a slice of Black Forest cake on the lakeside terrace.
