in the Tonbach valley
(up here in the Northern Black Forest).
Here, where the hills gently blend into one another and the forest begins right outside the door, your place to arrive awaits. Peaceful. Natural. Truly Black Forest.
We have two vacation apartments that form the heart of our little retreat.
Both are furnished with great care, each with its own unique character – yet united by one feeling: to arrive, breathe deeply, and want to stay.
The first apartment offers a bit more space, perfect for families or anyone who appreciates a spacious and relaxed atmosphere. The second invites you in with warm colors and an open living space – ideal for couples or short getaways for two. Neither is more important than the other – they are two different paths to the same feeling: peace, nature, and time for yourself.

I'm here if you like – I gladly share my favorite spots in the Black Forest, little insider tips off the beaten track, and everything else that will make your stay even more special. And if you want to know all about the vacation rentals, you can count on me.

Can I book my holiday on this website?
You can only check the availability of an apartment by clicking on the Airbnb-Link above (you will be redirected to the Airbnb-Website). You can then choose to either book directly via Airbnb or you are more than welcome to contact us personally under our contacting details (see Contact below).
Are both apartments in the same building?
Yes, both apartments are in the same building. It does not matter which apartment you book as guests of both apartments have access to all and the same facilities.
Is it possible to book both apartments at the same time?
Yes, it is possible to book both apartments at the same time.
How large are the apartments?
Apartment #121 is 65 sqm, which can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people (a maximum of 5)
Apartment #61 is 39 sqm, which can accommodate up to 3 people.
Where can I see more of the apartments?
Go to the menu bar above (top left), click on the triangles for the English version, and then click on "Pictures of Apartments" and "Included Services" (for what is included)
Do the apartments have a balcony?
Yes, both apartments have a south-facing balcony with a splendid view into the undisturbed rolling hills of the Tonbach Valley.
Is a minimum stay required?
Yes. A minimum of 4 nights.
Is there a parking space directly at the house of the holiday apartment?
Each apartment has its own underground and secured parking bay.
Is there a cot or a high chair in the apartments?
Both a cot and high chair are available in either apartment.
Do I have to pay a tourist tax?
Yes. €3.00 per person per day
Are pets allowed?
Yes, only small house-trained pets (small dogs e.g.), with prior approval and at supplementary costs.
What is the “Schwarzwald Plus” Card ("The Black Forest Plus" Card) and how does it work?
We are connected to a programme called "Schwarzwald Plus". The Schwarzwald Plus Card is a gift from us as Host to you as Guest - which you receive cost-free. With the Card, you have access to more than 80 attractions in the region, also all cost free. You receive the Card only when you have booked an apartment.
What does the “Schwarzwald Plus” Card comprise?
